Esmée manages the Hague office as Vice President, the Netherlands. She is responsible for the overall operations of this office and reports to the Senior Vice President, EMEA.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Managing the entire Netherlands team, including operations, finances, and strategy

• Identifying client opportunities and needs, and proposing customized solutions

• Representing Altair at regional industry events

• Developing new business and sales opportunities through a variety of media

• Maintaining the business development database

• Managing all regional RFP processes, including the written RFP response, pricing, final presentations, negotiation, and closing contracts

Being an active member of the European management team, Esmée joined Altair in 2016 as Managing Director, the Netherlands. She was promoted to her current position in 2018.

Before joining Altair, Esmée held the position of General Manager, the Netherlands, and she also served as a Relocation Consultant and Senior Relocation Consultant at a relocation management firm in Brussels. Prior to that, Esmée organized and taught expatriate classes in Brussels for several years. She also has experience working for international corporations like Océ Copiers, Swarovski, and Stork.

Esmée attended Bell College in the Netherlands and also participated as an exchange student at Midwest City High School in Oklahoma. In addition to the Netherlands, she has lived in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, and Belgium. She speaks fluent Dutch, English, and German, and she has a basic working knowledge of French.
